Samiksha Jha

Writer, poet, and believer in change. A development practitioner working at the intersections of gender, feminism, and labour, Samiksha leads programme design and strategy on gender-based violence prevention, institutional accountability, and labour rights. Her work strengthens survivor-centric redressal by building empowered, accountable institutions, expanding access to justice, and addressing structural inequalities - driving safe working and learning spaces. Grounded in feminist, participatory approaches, she engages across institutions, civil society, and grassroots movements to enable sustained, systemic change.

Bindu Baby

Associated with the Martha Farrell Foundation since its inception, Bindu serves as In-Charge (Administration) and brings decades of dedicated service to the organization. She has played a key role in building and strengthening administrative systems, institutional processes, and governance practices. Her responsibilities include overseeing finance, human resources, and overall administration, while supporting Governing Board processes and maintaining key institutional records. Known for her integrity, commitment, and deep institutional knowledge, she continues to be instrumental in advancing the Foundation’s growth and mission.

Nandita Pradhan Bhatt

Nandita Pradhan Bhatt

Nandita gave leadership to the Martha Farrell Foundation and its programmes to support informal, migrant workers, and their adolescent children to build their leadership and collective voice against injustice, as former Director-Operations till December, 2025 . She has nearly 30 years of experience in promoting gender inclusion in governance, management, and leadership of organisations. She specialises in mentoring institutions to create gender equal workplaces, compliant with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. Currently, she works with the Foundation as a Senior Consultant.

Piyush Poddar

Piyush Poddar

Piyush Poddar is a social development professional working at the intersection of gender and labour rights. He works with women domestic workers, focusing on strengthening community leadership and enabling women from marginalised communities to claim their rights. He actively engages with institutions through advocacy efforts to advance the rights and recognition of women domestic workers. He has a keen interest in writing on labour issues from a rights-based perspective. Piyush also practices sustainability in his everyday life, consciously working to refuse and reduce plastic use in both personal and professional spaces. He enjoys challenging himself through treks and finds joy in planting and nurturing greenery.

Samia Siddiqui

Samia Siddiqui

A self-taught artist, graphic designer, and someone who perceives the world through the lens of art, Samia is driven to bring about positive change at the grassroots level. With a Master's degree in Social Work, she possesses a profound comprehension of the intricate challenges experienced by marginalised communities. Her dedication lies in fostering sustainable solutions. Samia is a certified POCSO trainer who leads MFF’s flagship programme with adolescents, the Kadam Badhate Chalo (KBC) Programme.

Anshul Sharma

Working as an Account Assistant with the Martha Farrell Foundation, Anshul has over 9 years of experience in the social sector. He holds a B.Com degree from Himachal Pradesh University and a Diploma in Financial Accounting from the Indian Institute of Computer Technology. Apart from his professional work, he enjoys cooking and driving.

Siddhant Pasricha

Siddhant Pasricha

A queer feminist practitioner with five years of experience in the development sector. Siddhant holds a degree in Labour Studies and Social Protection from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and is passionate about using research and advocacy skills in their work. Their focus is on exploring and advancing feminist approaches to fundraising, with a particular interest in using newer means for fundraising. They embrace care as both a guiding principle and a political stance. Outside work, they like to run, dance, and read.

Stuti

Stuti holds a specialisation in Multimedia and Mass Communication from Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi. She is passionate about utilising her multimedia storytelling skills to amplify voices from the marginalised communities. Before joining MFF, Stuti has written ground reports for The Quint, The Print, Mooknayak, and Feminism in India among others. She aspires to put development news on the map. Off the clock, you’ll find her watching and talking about films, humming a tune, or capturing the world through her lens.

Sonia

State Coordinator

Sonia

Sonia is a women's rights activist who has consistently raised her voice on the issue of gender equality and violence against women in Haryana. Together with about 40,000 youth, women and men, who joined the Martha Farrell Foundation, she raises my voice for equality and to stop gender-based violence. Currently, she leads MFF’s engagement in Panipat, Haryana as the State Coordinator.

Helen Raj

Animator

Helen Raj

Originally from Tamil Nadu, Helen has been living in Delhi for nearly three decades. Before aligning herself with MFF and the National Domestic Workers Movement, she was a translator with a South Indian news channel, and a tutor for school-going children. Over the last three years, she has been working as a facilitator and mobiliser with women domestic workers. She worked closely with the community to resolve exacerbated challenges of the COVID pandemic, and coordinated relief distribution that reached over 1000 women domestic workers and their families during the second wave.

Cyrilla Toppo

Animator

Cyrilla Toppo

Sr. Cyrilla Toppo is a social worker, belonging to the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross congregation. She has worked in rural areas as coordinator of women's empowerment, income generation, savings scheme, among others. From 2010 to 2017, she worked in Delhi on an anti-human trafficking initiative, mainly for transit monitoring, rescuing and rehabilitating children. At present, she is working as an Animator at the Martha Farrell Foundation.

Anju

Anju is a community activist for a women's group working in collaboration with women from self-help groups at Raksera and Bichpadi in Haryana to educate women about economic savings and lead them into employment. She has been working with the Foundation to promote gender equality and women's violence and employment of women by teaching sewing to women through sewing centers with Self-Help Groups.
